Senator Durbin promotes biomedical research
Senator Dick Durbin recently spent an entire afternoon on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus. Following the press conference, the senator went on a tour of the Autonomic Materials Laboratory, led by UI professors Scott White and Nancy Sottos.
The senator also toured the new Chez Family Foundation Center for Wounded Veterans in Higher Education with Interim Director Nick Osborne, College of Applied Health Sciences Dean Tanya Gallagher and graduate assistant Garrett Anderson.
